First up is Frida Kahlo, who was considered one of Mexico’s most celebrated artists. She began her career as an artist painting mostly self-portraits. Years later, she became politically active when she married fellow communist artist Diego Rivera. Today, more than 50 years after her passing, she’s a feminist icon.

Salvador Dali was a Spanish surrealist artist who was best known for his undeniable technical skill. Thanks to precise craftsmanship, he created striking and bizarre images that are admired today, more than 100-years after his passing. Considered a prodigy of his time, he drew inspiration from his visions within his subconscious and dream sequences. 

Pablo Picasso is another artist known globally for his work. The Spanish painter, printmaker, sculptor, and ceramist is best known for his 1937 artwork, "Guernica." His artwork was inspired by the brutal 1937 bombing of Guernica's Basque city during the Spanish Civil War. 

According to the internet, the "Girl with a Pearl Earring" painting is said to be worth more than £6 million. The artwork, which was created by Johannes Vermeer, is often referred to as the "Mona Lisa of the North," and it is one of the world's most famous and mysterious pieces in the art world.
